LASER Forum - Public Area - Download Files

This area of the site offers all visitors an opportunity to keep their LASER Forum files 'up-to-date' by downloading files from this web to a local PC or equivalent.

Note: - you may need to obtain permission to download the following files from your system manager.

Note: - always run a full security check on any files you download from the Internet.

Note: - a dial-up connection to the Internet will fail to download these files.

The Forum currently uses 5 sets of coordinated files and a number of supporting files for each set.

It is very important to copy (put) each main file and its supporting files;

• in its own separate folder using the names given below.
• all separate area folders must be collected in one 'common holding folder'

The table below shows the names of the folders and files you have access to from the public side of the web.

When you choose, (click-on), a file to download it, a 'Windows' message similar to the messages below will 'pop-up'

• SELECT SAVE Save to the correct Forum Folder (this may overwrite a previous version in the folder) or Save to your preferred storage area and copy the file to the correct Forum Folder at a future session.

• DO NOT select OPEN or RUN

• SELECT Save this file to disk Save to the correct Forum Folder (this may overwrite a previous version in the folder) or Save to your preferred storage area and copy the file to the correct Forum Folder at a future session.

Please do not change these names.

- DO NOT interchange ILSrch.dll files between folders -

Note : - The ILMSrch.dll is used to help search the main file in a folder for Key words

Note: -Only those files in BOLD BLUE TEXT are available from this area of the web.

If you wish to have access to the remaining files you will need to go to the Members' Side of the web.
